Rifle Paper Co. Amalfi Collection has just arrived at the workroom! Since we love this new Cotton + Steel fabric collection so much – and we know you do too. We’re putting together an Amalfi Seas Quilt Kit that will showcase 13 of the Amalfi prints and 7 coordinating Cotton + Steel Basic prints. The Kit also includes the Dusk to Dawn Quilt from Then Came June (look for more of their patterns at the shop soon). Pre-order your kit while quantities last! (Have you heard of Bloc Loc rulers?! We’ll be introducing these amazing rulers to the shop starting with the Half Rectangle Triangle (HRT) Ruler Set which you can now pre-order to make trimming these quilt blocks a breeze)

We are delighted to announce that we have our winner for this year’s Row by Row Experience Shop Hop. Judy Kowalski came to the shop on Sunday July 16th to claim her prize of 25 fat quarters, plus the bonus prize of a Kona Solids Bundle for also including our row, Commute, in her quilt. The Row by Row starts every year on the first day of summer. Participating quilt shops create a pattern for a ‘row’ based on the year’s theme. This year’s theme was ‘On the Go’. Johanna Masko created our fun pattern ‘Commute’. These patterns are available for free but must be picked up in person during the contest period. Each shop offers up a prize or 25 fat quarters to the first person to arrive at the shop with a fully completed (quilted and bound) quilt that contains eight rows from different shops in Ontario. Our Commute pattern is still available for free! You can also purchase a kit containing all the Kona solids to create our version of the row.

Congratulations, Judy! Your quilt is so lovely!
