Axis Tank : starts Monday May 27, from 5:30pm-8:30pm for 2 sessions

Sophie Hines’ Axis Tank is the ultimate comfortable loungewear tank! An unlined, cropped bralette, the Axis top is a wardrobe staple.  You can wear it alone, layered with another bra, or to sleep in. It’s the perfect garment to wear under a sheer top or under layers.  Sophie has designed two versions of the Axis top: one to fit bodies with a B/C cup and another version to fit a D/E cup. The B/C version features a centre back seam and the D/E version features side seams that curve around the bust for a contoured fit.

Please note: In this class we will be sewing Version 1 or Version 3 of the pattern. After taking this class you can apply your knowledge to make the other colour-blocked versions included in the pattern.

Each student must purchase their own PDF copy of their chosen pattern directly from sophiehines.com. Proof of purchase will be required

Prerequisite : Beginner garment sewing experience is necessary to take this knitwear class. Students must have completed at least one previous garment and be confident using a sewing machine on their own.

Please note: As we all sew at an individual pace, projects are not always completed during class hours. Class participants have complimentary access to our Parkdale Studio space during Sew By The Hour times until their workshop project is completed.

This sewing class is Two 3-hour sessions. Meeting Monday May 27 & June 3.
