Please note! Minimum cut during the sale is a half metre. We have turned off the option to select fat quarters for the duration of the sale. This sale applies to all in-stock fabric, including bundles. We have also included anything in our HOLIDAY collection to the sale as well! This includes some adorable Lizzy House cards, metallic threads and the Kylie & The Machine Advent Calendar. Preorder fabric and single fat quarters are excluded from the sale pricing. The discount level will apply to the pretax total of all Fabric & Holiday collection items in your cart only. Non-sale items in your cart do not contribute to your discount level total for this sale. Are you hoping to receive or give workroom Gift Cards this year? Everything is electronic and automated but we wanted to let you know of a couple special features - the first is you can choose one of six graphic messages to include with the gift card. The second feature is the gift card can be emailed directly to the recipient AND you can schedule the date to send it. That's right, you can buy a gift card today to email on December 25th (or any other day) automatically, if you like.

In order to do all these things you need to select SEND AS A GIFT rather than Add to Cart. If you only see the add to cart button, you just need to click More Details to get past the Quick Buy page for the Gift Cards. If you Add to Cart and you don't get the pop up asking you to customize the gift card, it will be emailed directly to you and you can then forward that generic gift card email to the recipient.

The creative team at Ruby Star Society had the brilliant idea to put together the most adorable printed Mask Panel. The panel includes pieces for up to twenty different masks (if you use another fabric as your lining). If you're looking for a fun way to get more masks in your rotation, this is probably the cutest way to do it. Our first round sold out real quick, but we've got a big order due to arrive in October. Black Lives Matter | the workroom

Black Lives Matter

We welcome June with optimism and hope that we can all do better to acknowledge, amplify and support our black community. Everyone at the workroom strongly believes that Black Lives Matter. We know we can do more to be anti-racist and are committed to educating ourselves on how to be better allies. In addition to learning and signing petitions, we have donated $100 to each the following seven organizations or funds this week. We will also be setting up monthly contributions going forward to maintain our financial commitment for the long term. We encourage you to consider what you are able to contribute whether it is monetary, your voice or your energy. The work to be done here is overwhelming but essential.

We are thrilled to bring in Fat Quarterly Quilt Kits - a collaboration between quilt designer Andrea Tsang Jackson of 3rd Story Workshop and textile designer Alissa Kloet of Keephouse Studio. We've got a limited supply of the first two editions. If you're looking for a beautiful project to work on right now, you just need to add a background fabric of your choice and get sewing!

The new Liberty of London Winterbourne collection is a botanical explosion of classic floral prints in that Liberty style that we all love so much. There are thirty one prints in the whole collection with limited half metre & fat quarter bundles available. We've also done a few smaller sets based on the three colourways - Cloud, Berry and Spruce. This collection is printed on Lasenby quilting cotton weight.
