THE WORKROOM PARKDALE : This workshop is scheduled to take place in our new studio at 207 Cowan Avenue, Unit A. We can't wait to welcome you there!

It’s all in how you stack the deck in our Nine of Diamonds Quilt Top Workshop! You'll learn a clever way of shuffling your fabrics that will result in a unique assortment of speed-pieced Nine Patch blocks with no two alike. Blocks are set “on point” for a sparkling, dynamic layout. This pattern offers flexible sizing for your finished quilt- keep it modest if you’re a beginner or scale it up if you feel more confident.

This quilt top can be made as a small (baby), large throw (sample size), twin or queen.
The Nine of Diamonds sample features 36 Nine Patch blocks and a total finished size of 72″ square.

This is a four session class that meets each Thursday, June 6, 13, 20 & 27.

Prerequisite: We recommend our beginner sewing class, Sewing Machine Essentials or equivalent experience. Students should know how to thread a sewing machine to take this class.

CLASS SUPPLIES : Class fees include workshop registration and in-shop use of sewing machines and irons. All supplies, materials and personal tools are to be provided by each student, unless otherwise specified. Upon enrolment, a Class Confirmation and Supply List will be emailed by our shop team so that these items can be gathered or purchased prior to the class. We welcome a visit, call or email with any questions regarding this workshop and the required supplies prior to registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY : Class fees are non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their class fee.

Our bright Parkdale Studio is equipped with Bernina sewing machines and sergers, large cutting tables and ironing stations. Students will also learn to use specialty presser feet, essential sewing machine features as required for their class project.
